Marine-based Biopolymer

Formulations and Iterations

Rigorous biopolymer formulations and iterations to figure out the best mechanical properties such as tensile, binding strength, shrinkage deformation and curing time.

Polymer-Timber Interaction

When the water content evaporates, shrinkage happens, and the biopolymer turns into bioplastic. The polymer binds into cellulose fiber and pulls the membrane, causing a deformation to occur.
